Hi everybody.
a neighbour asked me to make a Jenga for his daughter, he just wanted the pieces but as my wife always says…...you have to do a little more, so i made the box, the name and the engraving of about half the pieces and they were very happy with the results. he said he did not expect something so nice.
the name and engraving was done in the laser.

Thanks for reading and take care and be safe!

I have been into old, and new, wooden games and this one looks like my next contender.

You did a beautiful job on your realization of this game.
How did you “break” all the corners on the individual pieces to make looks and feel comfortable?

i hand sanded all of them. i used a disc sander but it gave me little bumps and imperfections that when put the tower together it made it unstable, as i did not have any guide. so i just sand them by hand with 220 grit sandpaper. and finished with a mix of mineral oil and bees wax.

Nayo! Long time no see! Glad you’re still around and making saw dust. You did an excellent job on this game. No easy task getting so many pieces identical. I really like the storage box! Thanks for sharing.

Opps! I forgot to answer. I and the family are doing fine. Adjusting to the new norm (whatever that is).
