This project was a fun one since a) it was all done with hand tools. Only power tool used was my cordless drill for the knobs on the drawers. The rest was cut, dimensioned, flattened, and squared with saws, hand planes, and chisels.
There was a mid course design change as I originally planned to have the center keyboard door fold down. I changed to have it swing up.
I had my first attempt at mitered dovetails. Whole new dynamic added with that mitre. I didn’t like the overall look of them when I finished so I added those corner pieces. Actually they turned out to be an asset in the end.
All finished off the hand planes no sanding.

As the sincerest form of flattery. I’m going to copy your idea for my desk.
