I have made a drawing of a short and a long army truck. This build is according the smal one. It is made from mainly Merbau and Tulip wood. I also started a blog about the building process. And as always LittleBlackDuck made a great breakdown video.

The long version of this army truck
is also made by Gr8hunter.

I agree, and I have to admit that the fenders and the load box were the tough parts in this one.

Hey Dutchman, your build blogs were great, but they don’t do this final product justice. The main picture just pops, pops.

Initially I was slightly underwhelmed by the apparent simplicity of the model (ignoring the convoluted fenders, integration of that 1,000 piece grill, complex angles and the wheels), however, the finished product is one of your best!

Good choice of the merbau for the bumper… gives the impression of a good “weathered” look.

If I ever decide to make models, I hope I can do a tenth as good as you and Tony did with this one, Dutchy! Outstanding!
