Project Information

Finished up the Semi truck to go along with the low boy trailer I finished last week.
It's made with cherry and maple with danish oil as a finish.
I should have taken more pictures with out the flash as you can see it really brought out the orange in the cherry.

I'll try to add some non flash pictures down the road.
The blog starts here.

Here's a video of the truck and yes those are my bones creaking. LOL

Another nice one. And a big one. I like the mixt colors, although at first I had my doubts. I have to admit that it works out well. Well done #4. Up to next.

Sasha HI!!!
The creaking is my chair that I have to sit in because I can't stand for any length of time.
I wanted to cut off the sound but the MS tools wouldn't let me so added the music to hide it just a little.
Some one point me to where I can get the sound turned off please a different program I would think.

- Dutchy
Dutchy I know what your saying and would have much rather used walnut and dark oak but I used what I was given, so cherry and maple were the woods on hand.
My biggest problem was not having enough cherry to do the wheels right, but needing to make 24 I tried maple as I have a bunch of it, but was way to white.
