Problem: coffee pods in total disarray on a cabinet shelf. Solution: a wall mounted coffee pod holder. Not my idea – the basic theme is everywhere online and I just copied it. 1/4” birch plywood face and back with 1/8” spacers between, then edge banded with birch. Both round ends of each slot on the hardboard template were made using forstner bits and the straight slots were routed using an edge guide. My one regret is that the slots only hold nine pods, rather than ten, which is how they’re sold. A relatively uncomplicated project, but it’s so satisfying to see our pods all nice and neat now. I plan to make more for family and friends. Just goes to show that it’s the simple things in life that make us most content.

Well, you don’t open the box until you need one, and they you only have 9 to store, so it’s perfect.
