Project Information
Hi all,
We have two kittens that love to knock things on the floor in the living room, and so my wife asked me to come up with something to keep our TV remotes, books, what have you from being scattered every which way whenever we want to use them, so this is what I came up with.
I had some QS red oak shorts to make it out of, so I made a " caddy/" ( not sure if you would call it a box),. It's 6" X 12" X 16". I used my RTJ 400 to make the box joints. The doors use piano hinges with magnets to hold them shut. The finish is Moser's water soluble aniline dye, light French yellow walnut color, followed by bartley's gel varnish.
There are doors at each end of this because it sits on a table between our two recliners, and this way we both have access to it.
Thanks for looking
Jim
