Repaired Metronome

This metronome had been sent to me because one foot had broken out and was missing. The wood around the hole was also broken out and would have to be replaced and stained to match.

This was a fun project to practice turning a very tiny piece. I actually turned three different feet to find the one that matched the best. Still, it could have been better (aren’t we always our worst critic?), but I think I did pretty well matching the general shape, getting the height right so the metronome sits level and works correctly, and getting the weathering to match for age.

Thanks for looking.
