The stay-at-home season allowed me to delve into Dungeons & Dragons for the first time. As a gift to my party, I made a set of matching persimmon dice trays. They were such a big hit, I made some more from stock i had on hand and sold them. Cherry, Walnut & QS Oak, Osage, QS Oak, Walnut & Zebra and Persimmon boxes all lined with suede. The Persimmon boxes were just finished with burnishing. It turns out glassy smooth. It really preserves the arcane grey color that looks so cool. The others are finished with Amber Shellac and paste wax.
