The little rock n roller in the family will soon be 15. She has discovered vinyl records.

I made this from two 1×6 x 6’ pine boards, I think $12 and change .

I’ve been wanting to do a project with inkjet image transfer.

Thanks, Steve Ramsey. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zq2O66QGCwg

I started the inkjet image with a sheet of shipping labels, that was almost a disaster. The label paper had way too much adhesive on it, I knew I’d have a paper jam from hell. Instead, I used a sheet of CD/DVD labels. No adhesive.

I have 2 more records on the way, I had to buy this one to get the dimensions right.

14” wide x 11” tall x 18” long. Pine and Mohawk Dead Flat lacquer.

Nice build. Can’t say I understand why anyone would want to go back to records but I know that she is not alone in rediscovering this old fashion medium. At only 15…....It’s kind of cool if you think about it.
