This is my first real project using dovetail joinery. I’ve been practicing on other test pieces until I worked up the confidence to try this one. I’m a fan of James Krenov, and got some inspiration from him with this cabinet. Although Krenov is the master. It was a lot of fun to make and will definitely enjoy making other projects like it

You mean to tell me this cabinet wasn’t actually made by James Krenov himself?.....You could have fooled me.
Well done.

beautiful piece – I’ve been thinking of a small wine/liquor cabinet to hold a few bottles and glasses and this gives me the inspiration I think I need.

The wood is cherry?

LOL! As do we all! I have seen and studied some of his work and the creations of his students, had the privilege of using a plane he actually built and used, ahhhh to have a 1/100 of his skill and vision?
