Thanks to my new Incra 5000 I’m back to frame making!! These are my latest…light one is poplar, square is mahogany (first time working with mahogany – nice), and two-color is hickory and walnut. That last one was a “save” of a prior mess-up; I had to add the walnut border to salvage the hickory and then used double plexiglass as the grove for the backer wasn’t deep enough. All finished with GF High Performance semi-gloss.

Looks like you’ve nailed the miters!

The last photo “fix” really adds another dimension to your frames, keep exploring the limits!

Thanks! I agree – my mistakes often have brought about a better or more interesting outcome.

And…just finished this one. This is a replacement to the prior frame that failed (not one I built!!...here is the info on that original frame)

Thanks. Definitely more fun when they come together than the weeks (months actually) when I was having nothing but frustration with the miters!
