Fold down table

A friend asked me to design and make a fold down table for the bar area of his basement. He wanted a place to set up food when family and friends were over, but would be out of the way when not in use. He wanted to make it look like a picture with the Boston skyline when up and reclaimed wood when down. I made all the components except the decals. My friend wanted the table to sit at 36” but only be 32” deep and wanted metal and reclaimed wood to match his bar – the bottom needed to be flat for the decal and he wanted a frame to stay around the other decal on the wall. I designed it with metal legs with a custom designed extension to get the correct height and width and custom locks to hold everything on place.
