Indy Car scratch build

This is a scratch build Indy car I’ve had the idea for doing a long time but just never got around to making.
I had the idea it would be more of a toy build considering the building style I used but about half way through it hit me this just might turn out interesting.
It’s made with maple and cherry just scrap wood around the shop.
The wheels are walnut from chunks of wood I just about throw out a month or so back when I was trying to make room, but they sure worked out well this time around.

Pretty enough to be a shelf/display case toy and sturdy enoughto stand up to play/

Thay makes it a GREAT TOY!

Absolutely gorgeous Bruce.
Great mix of timber which highlight the detailing, superb…
All it needs is a driver, some high octane fuel and a race track and we’re off as fast as a Bruce build…zoom.....
