The top of this table is made with Black Acacia I started with a thick piece that was about 6 inches wide and resaved 1/8 inch veneers that were book ended. I then glued that veneer to a 3/4 inch thick birch play top that was then cut into separate sections for the two main parts and the two extension inserts. The edges and base part are made with Sepele. The table is very stable, chairs fit under it without hitting anything and it will easily sit 12 people when extended.

That is beautiful and quite incredible. Nice work. Would love to see more of how you made the undercarriage.

Next time I take the top off, I will take a picture of the undercarriage and post it.
