I copied this design from a recent issue of Woodsmith magazine. I was impressed with it’s simplicity. It was a little hard to get correctly dimensioned for the drawer slides and mine turned out with drawer slides that were a little sloppy. I used white oak for the drawers and Sepele for the base. Ebony splines in the drawers and maple splices in the base.

I like it! I really like the design of the sides. Is the top tray fixed? I kind of want to make a 2 drawer version for my home office.

I really like that as well. I’m planning a new computer desk and something like your design would work very well it.

Nice job. I saw that design too and I’m planning a 2 tier version for my desk.
