Standing 7 inches tall this turned from wet Madrone. Great movement and colors in this piece.
C and C welcome

Nice piece, Ron. I like the carved legs ..they really set it off. You must have a whole madrona tree!! I still have some pieces from the log I bought when we went to Washington.
cheers, Jim

Jim I hope you are storing it in water. To get good movement it must stay wet. I have mine in water and in water it will not float. Yes it is very dense and wet.

Never heard of Madrona. Interesting how you store it and it won’t float. The vase with feet is beautiful.

In the second picture, on the inside surface, left of center just under the live-edge rim: Does anyone else see a face or am I having a religious vision?
Beautiful vase, the grain pattern is amazing. What type of finish did you use?
Thanks for sharing.

Did you inhale. I think I do see it. I guess I did not look that close. Worth more money now. Thank you
