Finished this table a few months ago and wanted to post. It is a continued evolution of a style that I’m really enjoying developing. Ultra sturdy, much more than than one would expect. Wenge and sapele. I like the way it floats but seeing the under structure might be my favorite part. Top and bottom are ripped down the middle with Wenge laminated to inner edges and 3/8 dowels joining the halves. My favorite table of this design so far. The longest and widest to date. Fits nicely with the master bedroom furniture I made years ago.

66 long x 34 tall x 16 wide, Wenge and Sapele

I find the design very intriguing. Im getting a feeling of Japanese furniture design but also the feeling of an old wooden ship when looking underneath.

Beautiful design!
Its cool that you keep evolving it. Looks like a winner and wood choice and joinery are GREAT.
