The 1st is Maple, 9” X 16” X 7/8”.
The 2nd is Maple, 9” X 17” X 3/4”.
The 3rd is Ash, 14” D X 1”.
All finished with Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner.

I thought the notice on my phone said Chess boards? Logged on to the laptop and remembered why I have reading glasses:) Maple is still my all time favorite wood for cutting boards of any type, which reminds me I have an order for 4 small cutting boards and 1 big one:) Finish on them boards looks great, I’ve been using the Watco butcher block finish. Oh ya, Thanks for the great weather you sent this way!

Thanks guys! Andre, I just started laughing, wondering if you got hail or sunshine, I hope it was the latter? I like the Maple too, but I’m finding quite a variation in the looks and colours of the boards I have.

Thanks Dave. Cutting and finishing that groove in the handle was a bit of work, I’ll be faster at it next time.
