I saw this art box on a web site, it was reasonably priced…..but since I’m in a lock down situation and I have a lot of scrap wood , I’d use this time to build one for myself . I used beech that was from some drawer sides I rescued from the trash, some scrap pieces of walnut and turned a small maple shaker pull. The leather handle was salvaged from an old case. Just need to add some dividers and fill it with stuff. The finish is a DIY danish oil mix.

Exquisite workmanship
Lovely magazine holders and shelves in the background as well
The photos on site are being rotated and it is maddening

Was going to make a comment… but only sideways posted pictures piss me off more than people that cannot post a correct oriented picture.

Doug, there is some fine craftsmanship in this box. Good work. I like the design. You might try Venetian blinds for dividers. Fine use of your confinement time. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Photos are doing this automatically by the website, not the poster’s fault….and it cannot be corrected by the poster. Wait until it happens to you

Are you for real? I think you may be lacking some sleep!

It’s up to the poster to correct… not the viewer.

Surely he looks at the post and realises something is wrong… They take pride in their product and then treat the viewer with contempt assuming they will put up with sloopy work. They don’t do it in the workshop, why do it her.

They are allowed to make questions.

Far too many viewers fix it for the poster making people apathetic… and far too many people continue to view sideways and upside down pictures thereby encouraging the practice.

I refuse to view incorrect oriented and it wasn’t till I hit the upside down photo that I spat the dummy, however, made the comment hoping the poster might raise the question… surprise, surprise… not a peep!

FAIW, the fix can be found in my detailed rant here.

You could have been decent and just shown the link to that instead of the attack
It is frustrating to fight with the damn site when
IT TURNS THE PICS ARBITRARILY
I expect it to function properly and sent an email to Martin…got nothing in return
I tried to manipulate my photo AND THE SITE STILL ROTATED THE PHOTO
It is the programming on here, not the poster. Some pics will not orient properly.
I am OCD about my pics, just not a dick to snap at someone like you.

If this is enough to derail you like this, you need to up your medication
Looking for blocking function now

And waste half my life on like-minded to the likes of you that refuse to ask question.

If I did that for all the apathetic contributors that posted sideways and upside down pictures, I wouldn’t have time to take a shit!

I said my peace and don’t wish to waste any of my time with the likes like you. And thanks to people like you… my medication cost has blown my budget.
