Hi, I haven’t posted for a while here but have certainly been busy. You can check out my other work on my Facebook page.
Theresa’s Treasures at Derrymore-

These Australian wrens have been hand carved using reclaimed wood (from a pallet), painted and coated with a clear water based layer (non yellowing ) for protection.

Thanks guys, many practices of both carving and painting went into reaching this one. Then…. I recieved requests to do more, like 20+ more!!!

Love the fairy wrens, great Job, interesting little birds, From what I understand the male and female pair for life however other females come and go breed with the male and get help from the life partnered female to rare the young. Promiscuous little things, I spend hours watching them.
