Mountain dulcimer/hummingbird style

This is a Hummingbird shaped mountain dulcimer.its made from a cool piece of Australian lace wood ,quilted pacific maple,,cherry, walnut and fiddle back maple.hand rubbed oil six coats and a lot of rubbing . All made from scraps from other projects.of the four I just finished it sounds the best.cheers Michaeljon

you make the most beautiful dulcimers,it’s sad we cant also hear them played.you are an incredible craftsman.

i love it. i used to play dulcimer. mine was made by homer ledford from kentucky. wood was yelllw poplar salvaged from an old slave cabin. i loved it. good luck with yours!!!!!
