Walnut and Padauk pizza peel

A pizza peel that was made for an anniversary gift. It’s 12.25” W, and 13” L, and 1/2” thick. With the handle then it’s 22” long. I finished it with Watco Butcher Block oil.

What is the reddish wood?

The reddish wood is African Padauk. It’s one of my favorite woods and it’s pretty hard like Purple Heart. Thanks for the nice comments everyone.
