Here are a few more Keepsake boxes I just finished. I have made a few of these before, as have others on this site using the plan from Woodsmith Magazine. I was at Austin Hardwoods right before stay at home kicked in, and in their “scrap bin” they had 4 small boards of Arformosia, 3 boards 3 inches by 3 feet, and 1 board 6 inches by 3 feet. I saw them and thought… these are perfect for boxes, and they were dirt cheap.
The lid caps are Wenge that I had laying around, and finished them with Osmo. I think I will hand them out as Mother’s Day gifts

I agree, nice boxes, especially if that wood was dirt cheap. A nice mix.
