Here is a Wedding Cross I made for one of my clients. The outer cross and base are select pine. As for the center cross, I have no idea what wood that is. It was listed as free firewood. I decided to slice it open and found that beautiful grain pattern. Anyone know what it is?

Not sure what kind of wood you have there Duff but I really like your cross. I’m sure the frame is flat but it sure look like it’s beveled. Nice effect anyway!

Lol Tony! I had a hard enough time making the frame flat! And I used a tea stain before staining the pine. It works great.

Looks magnificant …all those 45 angles and wood in the middle grain is fantastic. Beautiful cross!
