Personal stamp

I started using a metal stamp set to stamp a name, a date, or initials on wooden gifts in an inconspicuous place sometimes. I found it difficult to properly space, align the characters so I made this to help me. This one can accept 2, 3, 4, or 5 characters. I just tap lightly with a mallet to make the indentations. Not perfect, but a lot better than my ‘one letter at a time’ attempts. (Please excuse the poor pics)

Metal stamps rely on force… Just make sure you stamp before assembling delicate works.

Cool idea. I know what you mean by getting them spaced evenly. This should work well.
