Merry Christmas to all! Here is another little snowman carving I finally finished. I had the idea to do one with a “snow-dog” but never found time to complete it. These little guys are pretty popular with customers …..and daughters! This one was claimed before the glue dried.

I have caved a couple snowmen, and someone always grabs them up faster than I can get a picture of them. they are fun and easy to carve. I gave two away this year as special ornament. Right now I’m carving a pine-wood derby car for the Cub Scouts, I hope to post it later this week. Just want to get there little minds thinking about the possibilities. We got all our Cubs derby car kits for Christmas and thats January’s projects, I can’t wait to see what they come up with. Happy caving, and I really enjoy your blog and I hope to start doing some canes next year myself, I just cut me some stock to work with. I make and carve Native American flutes, and I just started been making my own carving knife which I really enjoy. I hope to get something on my blog later this month as soon as I figure out this mov. editing thing.

Certainly seasonal and festive, not to mention the fact that I know someone that would love to have this. Thanks for posting as you’ve given me an idea for next year.
