Walnut is fast becoming my favorite wood to use. This is made with Walnut and Maple. The grains are unbelievable in this board, it looks as it has some sort of animal striping in it. This was a commissioned piece and the customer love it.

Very nice board. Walnut is one of my favorites as well. The only problem with walnut is it gets hard to see your pencil marks at times. What type of finish did you put on it?

Salad Bowl Finish by General Finishes is a good way to go. Worth trying.
