What to do on a Tuesday night, after I’ve done all my other shenanigans, and, before I begin wasting my life away before going to bed?

Why not make a little goblet?

Okay. If you insist.

A pen blank leftover, of course. It’s Bubinga, I think.

Mounted in the pin jaws, and turned, almost entirely, with my mini tools. The inside was finish-ready, off the tool. Good thing. It’s very difficult to sand something that will admit of only the tip of one’s pinky finger.

Mini?

Yeah. Mini.

Then, when I was done with it, I thought about pulling a coin out of my pocket, for scale in the photos.

That’s been done to death.

It has, hasn’t it?

So. a thought that crossed myowbadmind, just a couple days ago, came out of the shadows.

I took some more pictures, in the house, where the love of my life lives.

Thank you. And, I apologize with all my heart.

I don’t know if you are going to get a lot of big comments on something so small. But, It’s a fine piece of woodworking skills.

Hats off to you Mark. That’s a tedious job doing such a small turning. Great job.

OK, be honest, Is this the keyboard that Tom Hanks danced on in the movie “Big”? Is this thing really the size of a punch bowl? LOL Just kidding of course.

Great job, excellent proportions for something so small. Now fill it with some Irish Whiskey and leave it outside for the leprechauns – they might give you a pot of gold for it.

Stay healthy,

John

Thank you all. I thought you find that amusing.

Larry: You haven’t seen tons of photos of my hands?

John: Do they like Scotch? I don’t like Irish – it’s too sweet. Used to put some Irish in coffee, but, stopped drinking coffee.

You weren’t kidding, that is tiny. Looks like proportion wise it’s perfect!
