I use my RAS… a lot. For the longest time I’ve had a wheelbarrow behind it where most of the sawdust lands and it is a lot of sawdust. Almost as much as my table saw. I’ve seen several LJ’ers and Youtubers with various RAS dust collection methods and decided that I like the fence port style best. Made of scraps and bit it works really well. Project Link Here

Aha…good solution. Mine makes a mess when I use it even with a catch bag in back!

Well done Bill. No RAS in my shop buy my granddad always used one and it made a whale of a mess!

i have a similar method i use on mine,and yeah it works great.

none in my shop no more either was the very first tool I bought when I had started paid 225.00 for it could never get it to cut square every time glad its gone but a very nice set up that works very well GREAT JOB :<))

nice work – I had built a collection system for my RAS, however it failed miserable, lol
Might have to borrow some of this design concept.
