Recently I posted the project “Table Saw Resaw Jig”. One of the byproducts of resawing is the drop offs that you get. Some of those drop-offs were used to make these projects. The engraving was done with a NEJE Desktop Laser Engraver.
I am not endorsing any Amazon item, just giving someone a starting point to preview small Laser Engravers.
The Hearts are around 90-99mm wide by 92-99mm high. The dates are around 80 – 90mm wide by 11 – 16mm High. The pieces of cedar post are 12-15 inches long and about 4 1/2-6 inches wide. A Keyhole slot (picture #5) was routed in the back so these can be or mounted on a wall or outside on a patio porch pole or they can be stood up on a shelf. The last picture shows a typical Laser Engraver setup.
Thank you for viewing this project.

Jim, thanks for the comment and I applaud your comments on all the other “silent projects” that were listed.
That’s a list that any LJ doesn’t really want their project to stay on for the entire month!!!!
