I made this humidor for a friend of mine a few months back. Its from book matched and quarter sawn cherry so the grain looks very close to continuous all the way around. I used maple for the splines on the corners and the top and bottom. The inside is lined with cedar. He says that it has been working very well. Enjoy.

Very nice. I’ve been meaning to build one for a long time. I’ve read that Spanish cedar is the preferred lining on the snob lists at least. Did you use western red or aromatic (juniper) for the lining?

Aromatic. For what its worth, I later went back and made some dividers for the inside. I couldn’t find pictures though.
