Walnut Kitchen

This was an interesting project. As you can see everything is right up to the ceiling.
Lots of considerations had to be made when dealing with the unlevel floor and ceiling.
Everything has a natural finish with pre cat lacquer, soft close hinges, undermount guides.
Lot of work with other trades to make everything come together.

Who wouldn’t Love to have a Kitchen like that.
Fantastic.
Very very classy custom work. Outstanding.
I can only imagine the coordination of other trades to get it all right.
Superb.

Whats on the walls and back of the island?

I am glad to see there are still some (you) high quality cabinet makers still getting contracts in the States. It is a beautiful kitchen , doubly so with all that light pouring in. Tripley so, that you managed to do that install without a crown to hide the height inconsistencies.

Here it is either Ikea, or Ibiza style block skimmed with micro-cement.

Have the same question as Tony. Looks like some kind of sheet metal?

Thanks anthm27,

Thanks Tony, and Brian
The walls, shelving area next to the wine refrigerator,
and the surround around the coffee machine is all 1/8” steel plate.

Brian, every single piece that touched the walls was scribed to fit, some of the upper doors were cut at an angle to match the ceilings, there isn’t a bit of caulking anywhere in that kitchen.

Great attention to detail. Everything just fits, and the grain patterns flow perfectly.
