This is an Ishitani Furniture inspired standing desk I built February 2019. Trestle construction and held together with wedges and pegs (no glue). It can be easily taken apart for moving. The arms under the table top use a sliding dovetail to allow for wood movement. The top is made out of cherry and the base is beech. I also built a small shelve that sits on the trestle to store my office supplies.

Thanks for looking,

Luis

Wow! That is really elegant. Your design and execution is right up there with Ishitani, you are both quite the craftsmen.

Very slick design and build. I love the sliding dovetail and wedge tenons. Really nice table. I enjoyed several Ishitani furniture builds on YouTube and think the are top notch.

Love it. Also a fan of Sensei Ishitani. And his little dog, too.
