A case for my hardware template

A white Oak case for my hardware template system, the cardboard case has serviced it well for several years and I thought it was time. This was an all hand tool project and was a fun exercise in joinery. It is finished with a few coats of shellac.

Nice hand cut joinery. I like the traditional look with the oak as well. I’m curious what the hardware template system is used for?

Lovely in every way.
Fine hand work and wonderful to care for your tools.
Best of my thoughts,

Great to see people taking care of their tools. Nice handmade case.

EarlS, this system is used to position hardware (knobs and pulls) on doors and drawers while drilling the holes.
