Tom made his version entirely with hand tools, I cheated and did it about 50/50 hand and power

Nice work.

I had one in high school when I took a mechanical drawing class (drafting). It was also a big surface to do my other home work on too. I do not recall what I did with it. Probably left it for my younger brother.

Nice! I have zero need for one of those and nowhere to put one even if I did, but they are so cool I’m still tempted to make one anyway. Yours looks really well done.

Kidding. I wouldn’t apologize for anything. We use the tools we have, hand or power. You made a great drafting table there. That’s a show piece

Added the straight edge yesterday, now I have to wait for the social distancing to end for help to haul it up from the basement.
