A few months ago a friend asked me if I could do something similar to an airplane, the idea was that it would serve his 1-year-old son at the time of taking the photographs. After seeing several models, searching the web, and not finding free plans … I took a picture of the web, defined some measurements, and using a scale I took the rest to make it proportional. That was not final, since as I was cutting the woods and assembling; I had to adjust because it seemed big or small.
Finally it was taking shape until the carpentry part was completed. There my nephew intervened to do the painting (the extras do not always have the same rhythm as us!) And after several weeks the project was completed.
The idea is to be able to move the piece by taking it from behind and forward it rests on wheels. Maybe it would have been interesting to put another wheel behind and just have to push … but the extras are too expensive and I did not know the result they would have.
I agree with the result and I think the client too.
Wood is all pine.
A hug to all!

PS: the model is my son. He was the first to enjoy work … for a few days

Looks amazingly close to the Link trainer that taught thousands of WW2 pilots to fly. Great job!
