Finally done with this Fire Truck year ago a guy from church asked if I could make him a fire truck for his son of course I said sure I can not knowing then I would have to have been put into hospital twice for my collapsed lung hopefully now they have that problem fixed . He gave me free range to use my own wood and ideas so I asked a question here on LJ’s and of course Duchy Jan came thru for me and sent me some Red dye I mixed it up to his directions on WOW what a nice job it did took about 49 hours was very glad to get it done as it took way too long and was getting to be more of a hassle then pleasure but here it finally is all maple and walnut and mahogany and grill is bamboo skewers

This is a very nice one Tony. Sometimes I thought that the dye does need a large drying time :). Well done and I hope that the guy from church is glad with it. I also hope that you are doing better and better every day.

Whoof! Sorry about the collapsed lung. The second time? Did they have to open you up? I hope not.
Hopefully you’re fixed up and it won’t repeat… (I been there and got the T-shirt on the first one, don’t want another!)

The firetruck looks great! Love that red color. Nice details too.

Great fire truck!

Too pretty to let unsupervised plating with though!

Collapsed lungs are no fun at all!
I had one over 50 years ago; and when I am very tired it still hurts some!
