I had made a few desk, before making the floor. I didn’t realize how much work it was going to be. Let me tell you making around 800sq ft of flooring in a single car garage is a very huge job to me!! having to stack all the boards to the side after each process, so I could move and use the next tool. Lots of work!!! I purchased a New Powermatic 8” jointer and dust collector at the beginning of the project. The way I see it those tools have paid for them selves, probably double or triple times just from those projects.

Nice job on the floor.
Most people do not know how much work it takes to machine all of that wood. I do because I have been making
T&G cedar for under our eves. I have one over hang 9 X 40 finished but alas a lot more to do. If I take out the labor
the Red Cedar T&G will cost me .15c a sq ft.

Be safe

That is a beautiful floor, and I see that your quality inspector approves!
