Here is a Flip Top cart I just finished. This is Drew Fisher’s design. I chose this one because I really liked the idea of integrated power cords. Like millions of others, my shared 2 car garage workshop needs everything space efficient and mobile. This worked out great, I will probably make another one for some other small bench top tools I have.

Love the DIY chip collector on the planer as much as the cart! Nice work.

That’s a better choice of tools to put on it than what I did. I didn’t realize at the time that the joiner and planer would be usually used in combination. I put both on the flip stand. Wish I hadn’t.

I wish I had seen Drew’s video before I made mine…......It is by far the best design I’ve seen (and there are a lot of them)
Yours turned out nicely and should serve you well for a long time.
Well done.

Good job. I like Drew’s design also, especially the positive stops for each tool – no worry about dropping the pin or bolt while balancing the machines.

I just picked up the Ridgid belt/spindle sander last week so the cart is on my project list now. And I’ll need a planer to fill up the other half of the cart too…

nice. The only set of plan I ever bought was for drews stand. I mounted a disk / belt sander and the dewalt planer. Great design. I had to modify the dimensions and instead of a power strip I used a 2-gang box and outlet.
