Carved clock #2

This is my second carved clock, which was just finished today! I used maple for this clock, and a different pattern of dowel slices for the pattern.

Size 12” x 24” x 1-1/2”. Clear satin Varathane base coat, hand rubbed smooth, top-coated with hardwood past wax.

I chose Psalm 90:12 because of the way it speaks to the brevity of life and the need to be wise with our stewardship of it.

As with the first clock, I really enjoyed arranging the dowel slices on the clock face. The pattern is so pretty.
