Found a great blank at a local shop and tried a deeper bowl. Need a chuck, but seemed to make it work without. Curly maple finished with tung oil.

When you were turning that did you keep hearing a voice saying, you’re getting sleepy…....

I bet going around that curl was hypnotic.

Thanks Steve. Yeah at times it was hypnotic. Others I was white knuckling hoping I didn’t catch the tool and have the grain crack and spin apart.
