Kids love playing with water. Whether it’s in the bathtub, running through water puddles, or simply splashing in the pool. But why do kids love playing in water so much? Water play stimulated their senses (touch, sound, sight) and is oftentimes calming. I’ve built a DIY Sensory Table with Water Ramps for kids and here are the steps of how I did it.
This sensory table is specifically designed for 23″ x 16 1/4″ x 6″ totes to hold water. It also has adjustable water ramps. Kids could pour water into the funnels and have it run down the ramps. You could also remove the ramps and fill the totes with sand for kids to play in. Or even the combination of two; sand and water. My kids love playing with dirt and get their hands muddy.

Nice Viktor. Anything that let’s Kids be Kids, and play outside is a step in the right direction. Sometimes I think they are all locked inside on a video game.

Your website is refreshing in this day of pay for plans. I liked your garage cabinet builds. I’m currently in the process of redoing mine, Some ideas there for me. Thanks for access to your site.
