This is my first attempt at a Craig Kirk’s style scalloped ring segmented Vase. The Vase is made from Cherry, Maple, and Walnut. The Vase has 20 rings, 396 Segments. The scalloped Ring is what intrigued me. The half of the scallop in cherry is easy, it’s the matching curve on the maple that requires a jig to get a tight fit. The dots are tapered pins for a tight fit. The finish is just two coats of danish oil
