Did a similar project last summer and went through about 5lb of seed before a red tail hawk took it out going after a smaller bird. Had to do a little rebuilding.

Looks great, when I need a quick reset I love to make some bird feeders. It’s a good excuse to get into the shop and create good gifts people always enjoy getting.
