Standard Shaker style and proportions. Hall table 60”x18”x28”. Side table 31”x20”x26”.
This was a commissioned set of tables I made to compliment the interior design of a client’s home.
The purpleheart and sapele worked together nicely.
The purpleheart was also a real bitch to work with, thankfully, it was only on the tops.
The longer hall table’s surface has a block-mottle grain with some significant chatoyance, nothing I’ve ever seen in purpleheart.

I plan on making another piece with these two woods for my daughters room that compliment some sapele in her headboard of her bed and purpleheart shelves I made a while back.
