I just finished these Kumiko patterns after a couple rounds of practice pieces pic 1 & 2 reading several more of Des Kings books on Kumiko patterns to make a decision on which pattern to choose I settled on these. I thought the ultimate test in patience and perseverance was raising children I think this may win. Special thanks to Mother Nature for the mild winter in the north east that allowed me to work in the basement shop this season. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Really nice work KCM. I love the application of the kumiko in your windows. Great practical application of art.

I’ve done a few and your statement regarding patience may be the understatement of the year!

I am always drawn to kumiko when I see them. I am going to have to try this someday. Beautiful work.
