It’s not quite done, but I don’t know when I might have the time to finish it. I’ve got to fill a few nail holes and touch-ups before the finish coat of poly.
It’s an old secretary/desk that was bought by my brother at an estate sale. It used to belong to a friend of my wife. It was in disrepair cracked boards, loose joints, and botched up repairs. I took it apart and completely rebuilt it using as much of the original as possible, celebrating some of the imperfections. I also created a copy that I gave to one of my granddaughters.
