Hi. Please tell me, what you did with the big bolts in the corners? All the way front to back of bench, or ?

I used 20 mm threaded rod all the way through in the 4 locations with a nut on each end. I went back to check how tight they were and thye had loosened up from the lumber drying out and shrinking a bit.

The description & picture don’t seem to match. Looks much nicer than I would have thought it would have after reading the description. Nice work!

Thanks for the compliments, it actually looks better in the photos.
The lumber was rough sawn pressure treatred pine, I sanded it down with an orbital sander using 80 and 60 grit. Then I stained it used some Cabots Merbau tinted decking oil I had left over from another project.

Nicely done….it’s built like a brick sh*thouse!!! You should hide inside of that during bad weather . I am building a new woodshop next year, and it need a new bench…..this will be on my list to consider!! Simple and strong….well done!
