When life gives you scraps, make a table

So, I was looking at all these oak stairing pieces that were left over from replacing the stairs to the basement. I am a person who does not like wasting wood, so I made a table to donate to a consignment shop which does a 50/50 split between them and the VFW.

Wow. Very nice. I like the unique top and the great legs. Nice cause too. Well done.

I once heard an older Man say that it was a scrappy little table. Thinking now he was talking about one of these.

Good on you for the woodworking donation to a good cause. It sure looks like a table.

I, too, “am a person who does not like wasting wood.” You’ve made a very attractive, functional table for a worthwhile cause. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the leg design, and a great way not to waste wood.
Looks great, thanks for sharing!
