Finished these projects yesterday in time for Valentines Day, adds a nice display on the dresser in our bedroom.

They came from the most ugly, old piece of firewood you have ever seen, had been out side for years.

Rain, snow, and sunshine had taken its magic on the wood, Making it more beautiful than it was originally, Birch is usually quite uniform blond color.

Have you noticed people can get more beautiful with age, experience, tough times, good times, refines the character. Once one gets to know someone and peels of the outer aged exterior, the inside and what you can learn from an older person is priceless.

Thanks for looking and comments appreciated.

Brian,

Well done man. Very nice looking turnings. Looks like it came from fire wood? Amazing. It’s why I can’t throw anything out!
